Final Reflection

1. Wow, it's crazy to see all that we have completed in this class. To be honest, I really struggled with the interviews. It is difficult for me to approach strangers in this way, so I can confidently say that was the hardest part of this class. I enjoyed making the elevator pitch. I enjoyed being able to re-record the video if I made a mistake, and it was great to see the improvements I made from the first video to the last. In addition, I enjoyed commenting on the blogs of other students. It was great to see the creativity and innovation of other people.

2. The experience I will remember years later is the assignment "My Secret Sauce." It was really great to learn what the most important people in my life thought about me in this way. I will for sure remember this and carry this with me throughout the rest of my life. I am most proud of accomplishing interviews because I knew interviews were going to be the most challenging part of this class for me.

3. I definitely think I have moved closer to developing an entrepreneurial mindset for sure.

4. I would suggest giving this class your best. It may seem overwhelming in the beginning because it might be something you have never done before, but just give it 110% right off the bat. Also, plan ahead. Create a schedule and make it a habit. You won't regret it.

  1. Hi Rachel,
Looking back I couldn’t believe how many blog posts and assignments I had done too. The interviews really got me out of my comfort zone as well but I think that’s a good thing. I think it’s great that you took so much away from the Secret Sauce exercise! I completely agree that creating a schedule for this class and sticking to it is the best way to succeed. Good luck if you plan to pursue your venture! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Rachel,

You and I, and all the other people in this class seem to have the same response for the most difficult part of this class being the interviews. I think we live in a world that talking to strangers is more difficult than ever because we're so tied down to our phones. I totally agree with this class being a bit overwhelming. Because I struggled with many of the assignments. Unfortunately, I didnt do this assignment, but feel free to check out the rest of my blog here: http://gabrielaraujoent3003.blogspot.com/

  3. Rachel,

I also said that the hardest part for me were the interviews! It was one thing conducting the interviews, but another to approach random people and to ask them to be interviewed. I also liked the secret sauce assignment, but I chose to write about the format of the class rather than a specific assignment. I also said that you need to give every assignment 110%- wow, we had a lot of similarities in our post!
