I saw an opportunity for a healthier alternative when eating late at night. Most college students enjoy eating late but tend to be frustrated that there is not much of a variety when it comes to food options. That's why I came up with the food store Late Night Light. It's a healthy food store that will be open late at night, so students can eat when midnight rolls around without regretting their food choices in the morning.

The idea is great, but I have a couple quetions:
This concept will be mainly targeting wealthy college students who seek healthier alternatives to late night food. Where will you locate the store so that it's nearest to these sort of people? If it's near campus, property costs will be insane so take that into consideration when making your decision. Will the food be locally sourced (higher risk of bacteria/virus(think chipotle with e-coli)) or will it be sourced from commercial farms (lower cost, lower risk, lower quality). If you choose option one, what preventative measures will you go through to make sure that the quality meets industry standards?
I would love to have an option like this, not just pizza and jimmy johns (though I f*ing love pizza and would probably continue to sleep with the enemy) but it's a lot of work. Nonetheless, you can do it and I'd be happy to help in any way!
Good luck

Very good job on your elevator pitch. It definitely got me interested in your business idea, and captured my attention. I definitely relate to your problem as well. Students in general stay up late, especially on weekends. At these late hours, it is common for people to start getting hungry, and you are right, the only places open at this hour offer food that are high in carbs, sodium, etc. Also at this late hour, your body has a harder time burning off these carbs when you eat this them this late. A healthy alternative that can reduce the amount of late night carbs is definitely needed. I especially like how you understand that the main target audience for a business like this would be college campuses. Very good work. Unfortunately I was very sick last week and was unable to do my elevator pitch. However, if you would like to check out some of my other posts, the link to my blog is below

Your elevator pitch was put together very good. I think the idea that you came up with will be very successful if actually put into motion. The location of your business is going to be key though. Most people up that late are imparted so it needs to either be in walking distance or in the perfect location. It has the opportunity to become successful by all means and I think you did a great job.
